I first want to start off by saying, thank you so much for taking the time to look at our website. I would like to share a little bit more about our Akerue Cosmetics brand just so you can get to know us here!

Hey Beautiful Beings, my name is Eureka Monroe, the creator of Akerue Cosmetics. I have always had a very strong passion in beauty and makeup! Back in the early 2000’s when I did a little bit of modeling, I learned very quickly during photoshoots that I needed to know how to apply makeup. I had to learned how to change my look for the different scenes. I used every resource I could to learned how to do my own makeup, from buying makeup books to simply studying model’s makeup in magazines. Over the years, I got better and better at doing makeup.

Fast forward to my life… married with two kids, On February 19th, 2017, I had one of the most traumatic things happen to me, the loss of my 22-week-old daughter. This ordeal sent me into the deepest depression that only I could get myself out of. So, I turned to my love of makeup to help distract me from feeling sad and down! Then something clicked and it was like I fell in love with makeup all over again! So, I decided to start my own brand of affordable cosmetics. As for the name Akerue it’s literally just my name Eureka spelled backward!

After many months of research into making sure we only used ingredients that are paraben free, cruelty free and free from any harsh chemicals, I decided to officially launch Akerue Cosmetics!

All the makeup products you see on our website are custom created using the highest-grade mica & pigments.
